WebTicker is a simple action that can be applied to any standard layered html box and have the content automatically scrolled like a news ticker. The scrolling is automatically stopped when the user mouses over the text and restarts when they mouse out.

Adding the ticker to your Freeway pages is easy;

  1. Create a layered html item that contains your news text. Text may be styled as you wish as well as contain links, and even small images.

  2. Close the box up to the size you want the visible part of the ticker to occupy on the page.

  3. Using the Inspector palette make sure that the overflow is set to Hidden

  4. Apply the WebTicker action to the box.

  5. Select the scroll speed from the slider in the Actions palette.

I have followed all steps to use WeBTicker action, but the ticker remais stucked in the first text line. There are some solution or workaround? Thank you.

Version 0.4 fixes an issue with the ticker content displaying too low in Firefox and below the bounds of the main ticker panel.
