Image Captions
Created By
Description
Adds a method to easily add captions to images that otherwise would be time-consuming. Since the inclusion of nested html items, the need for this Action has diminished, as the effect can be built with native FW objects. But, the design continuity allowed with this Action more than offsets it makes up for that.
- Allows for location of captions to be below image (as is typical for captions), above, or floated on top of image either top or bottom.
- Can be used on standalone images floating on page or on inline items.
- Picks up on Image Maps and carries proper link through to caption.
- Regardless of position in flow of text, image jumps to before (or other block-level text tag) that it is in. Float controls where it displays (left/right). Mentioned because image will jump to before Line Breaks.
- Passes XHTML 1.0 Strict Validation
- Opacity for the caption background color, text stays at full opacity.
- Opacity option degrades nicely
- Caption offset
- Caption border
- Master/Slave options with adjustable scope to target only the actions you want to change
- Can use ‘any’ unit of measure for dimension fields
